How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of State Highway A1A and State Highway 10 (Atlantic Boulevard) in Jacksonville, proceed west on State Highway 10 1.21 km (0.75 mi) to the old highway, which is 23 m (75 ft) north of the new high rise bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway, then turn right and proceed west on the old highway for 0.6 km (0.4 mi) to the east bank of the waterway and Capt. Johnsons Fish Camp. The bench marks are located in the area around the fish camp. The tide gage and staff were located on the fish camp pier.
