Surface Wind Nowcast
This wind animation was created from the latest NGOFS nowcast surface forcing conditions. The hourly fields were created by spatially and temporally interpolating the wind products from the latest run of the National Weather Service's nested high-resolution (4km) North American Model (NAM4). These interpolated wind fields were used by NGOFS to generate oceanographic nowcasts of NGOFS domain.
