Observations for Houston/Galveston PORTS 2013-05-22 04:35:53 CDT

Water levels are rising at Morgans Point. Levels are above predictions by up to 0.9 feet at Eagle Point, Pier 21, and Port Bolivar - North Jetty.

Currents at Galveston Bay Entr Channel LB 11 are flooding at 1.1 knots.

Reported winds are generally from the south, between 5 and 13 knots with gusts to 15 knots.

Reported air temperatures are in the high 70s °F, and reported water temperatures are in the mid to high 70s °F.

Barometric pressure is falling at all three reporting stations, with readings between 1008.6 and 1009.8 mb.
